We purchased Auspet Boarding Kennels and Cattery in late January 2016. My husband Mick and I have always been animal lovers so decided to make animals a larger part of our life.

We have both served in the Royal Australian Navy and are both fully qualified electricians. From leaving the navy Mick remained in the electrical field locally and FIFO. I however, retained my license then went on to pursue another love of mine, nursing. After studying for 3 and a half years at Curtin University I graduated and begun working at Bentley Hospital, then moved to Royal Perth Hospital Wellington St.

Mick has now semi-retired to run and maintain Auspets and I have reduced my hours significantly to also be at the kennels more often than not.

We have two beautiful children (well young adults really). Our daughter Lauryn (24) is an Education Assistant for special needs children, a swimming instructor and works with special need adults in their homes (very proud of her). Our son Jarrod (17) attends high school, loves Mixed martial Arts and has gained his black belt in this field. He is also our resident helper.

We also have a lot of family support. We would love to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of them for their help and support from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all xx
